What is the PGT?
The Epilepsy Center's Annual Practically a Golf Tournament (PGT) is held each year to benefit the programs offered by The Center and fine-tune your putting skills. The PGT is a one day miniature golf tournament allowing you the chance to make a difference in the community.
How can my group get involved?
Put together a foursome with your co-workers, friends, or family and send in a registration form to enter the tournament. By entering you will be competing against others for the coveted Epilepsy Center PGT Trophy. There is a VIP area for all players with food and beverages as well as 50/50 raffles.
Each foursome receives:
- Entrance into the shotgun start tournament
- An opportunity to win prizes and trophy
- Event t-shirt and goodie bag
- Photo of your foursome for each participant
How it Works
The event is a shotgun start golf tournament with each team counting its best 3 scores a hole for all 18 holes. Team with the lowest score is crowned the PGT Champion. Cost to enter a foursome is $120. The event takes place in May and is typically on a Friday around 1p.m. Last year it was held at Levis Commons and plans for 2012 being held there again are already underway.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Hole sponsors for this amazing event are $350. This gets you signage at the hole, back of the t-shirts, as well as on the sponsorship board, mention in our quarterly newsletter the Torchlight and a link on our website.
In addition you can be an Event Sponsor for $5,000, which includes a free foursome in the event, all the signage mentioned above and a large banner signifying your company sponsored the event.
We also accept coupons and give-aways for our goodie bags.
